Anna just finished her first year of an MPA program specializing in International Policy at the Wagner School of Public Service at New York University. She is currently in Cusco, Peru Working with Innovations for Poverty Action for the summer of 2007, on a project examining microfinance interest rate sensitivity and impact in rural areas. Prior to attending Wagner, Anna was Program Manager at the Marc Lindenberg Center for Humanitarian Action, International Development and Global Citizenship at the University of Washington. There she managed a transnational mapping project of public health networks in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia, and planned a conference on microfinance and disaster preparedness and response in Managua. She looks forward to bringing the knowledge and skills she gains this summer back to her work with Jonathan Morduch on the Financial Access Initiative.
