Jessica Kiessel is an MPA PNP International candidate at NYU Wagner. She is interning at the Center for Micro Finance, a branch of IFMR in Chennai during the summer of 2007. While there, she will be assisting Rema Hanna (New York University) and Petia Topalova (IMF) with a randomized impact evaluation of remittance services provided by MFIs in Jharkhand and Orissa. Originally from Michigan, she served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Samoa (2003 to 2005) and has her B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology from Kalamazoo College.
